Sarah Ladwig had nominated for MAWA Secretary but has had to withdraw for family reasons, and therefore MAWA does not currently have a Secretary.
Key elements of the role are:
– Taking Minutes at the monthly committee meetings
– Dealing with emails sent to the website ‘Contact Us’ button
– Booking venues, notably the Ern Clark track
– Dealing with AMA matters, mainly preparations for the AMA AGM in September
Note that the Secretary does not need to work on memberships, nor any correspondence to do with Sunday runs.
