VALE JOHN FROST 1937-2014
John joined MAWA in 2000 and his club member number is 290. Over the years when he was not away in South Africa he competed as a walker in Sunday events. For some time John’s wife Moira was a fairly regular attendee at Sunday events on a non competing basis so many of the long time club members also know her. Condolences to Moira and family.
John contributed to the success of the club by being the race director for the Piney Lakes run for several years.
He was a very easy man to like. He will also be remembered as very much a gentleman. Well spoken, evenly tempered and knowledgeable.
