Long-standing members of the club may be interested in this email received from Todd Davey on Wednesday:
This morning at 6am my wife (Merilyn) lost her mother who succumbed to illness at 81 years of age.
My late Father in Law was Keith McDonald (The first President of MAWA)
What many people don’t know is that Keith’s wife Dulcie Mcdonald was the first FEMALE member and runner of MAWA way back in those years too.
They were both involved in a glorious era with their friends including Mr John Gilmore.
Thought I would pass this on and there may be one or two old athletes around that may wish to attend the funeral TBA.
