Congratulations to Mandy Mason for a stellar night of sprinting at the Athletics West Strive meeting last night. Mandy set a pending World W55 200m record of 24.94 s to follow a pending Australian W55 60m record of 7.76 s earlier in the evening.
The Fremantle Doctor frustrated Mandy’s attempt at a 100m WR last week, but yesterday it was kind to her with nice legal tail winds of 1.9 and 1.5 m/s.
