The Masters 10k Road Walking Championships will take place next weekend at 7:30am, not 8am as previously advertised. Members will need to register no later than 7:15am.

Our Magnificent Multi-eventers
Ten MAWA athletes have just received their certificates for place-getting in the OMA multi-event championships. In first place were Sue Coate, Paul Wilmott, Malachi Mackay, Brad Schirmer, Janet Smith and Carol Bowman, while in second place were Dave Wilkie, Nat Lockyer, Tammi Doyle and Jenn Parker.

AMA Postal HaLF marathon
To enter this event you will need to pay the AMA $10 fee using this link As a reminder the two WA qualifying events are our club half on 17th August and the Perth Running Festival on 12th October

WA State Cross Country champs
Note that this event on 26th July will now be held at Perry Lakes. MAWA members can enter this event as a registered AW athlete. It is an ‘all ages’ championships and masters run the normal 8k/6k distance.
